HOUSINGLESS MILLSTANDS

Quad has a range of housingless mill stand sizes for both bar, structural and universal mills. This stand design reduces the weight without compromising the rigidity of the mill stand, allowing for faster stand exchanges. The unique Quad design has a 25% larger separating force capacity, 65% higher axial thrust capacity and 35% lower neck stresses. The stand can be mounted vertically or horizontally for flexible use in H/V mills. The universal design has greater vertical roll rigidity than competitive designs.
